Famous Cities of the World: Prague

Prague is a scintillating experience, worthy of visit even at the most popular times of the year. Go for the spectacle, go for the fairy tale setting, go for the beer, it's all there to be enjoyed in Bohemia's capital. Prague is a city of very high standards, offering both historical and modern conference venues, hotels, restaurants and places of interest. Prague – the capital of the Czech Republic situated on both banks of the Vltava river is a beautiful city with a rich history. Prague is famous, even notorious, for its vibrant nightlife. The ancient brewery centers of Pilsen and Budweis are not far away and great, genuine, inexpensive Bohemian beer and highly drinkable local wines are served in countless pubs, bars and restaurants.

Prague is one of my favorite cities in the world! Prague is also a city of music, and the Prague Post / Monitor has complete listings for all musical tastes. The National Theatre, State Opera House and the Rudolfinum are top choices for classical music, opera and ballet, and their sumptuous interiors are only open for performances. Prague is also a modern European metropolis full of energy, music, and art. It's a city of contrasts: Serene green isles in the river and peaceful parks draping the city's seven hills are just steps away from the architectural treasures and bustling street life of the city center.

Prague is also the museum capital of the world, with more than 20 in the city center. Prague also has great jazz and folklore festivals going on throughout the year as well as boat cruises, hockey, and tours of the city. Prague is definitely a very beautiful town. It has amazing history, beautiful monuments, fascinating streets, cool pubs with delicious beer, many art galleries, lovely parks, as well as good public transport and lots of shops. Prague is a beauty of its own kind. Not only it offers the visitors extremely beautiful architecture from old times, it also offers you the chance of having very relaxing river side picnics by the River Vltava.

Prague is the destination for over 70,000 tourists every day in the high season, and the total number of visitor-days per year therefore amounts to almost 20 million. Prague is a traditional cultural centre of Europe where many cultural events take place. There are hundreds of concert halls, galleries, cinemas and clubs around the city. Prague is on the 19th position among the European cities. According to the report are Barcelona, Madrid and Prague seen as the cities doing the most to improve themselves as business locations.

Prague is also one of the cultural centers of Europe, hosting many cultural events each year. In the National Museum you can find important natural, scientific and historical collections. Prague is certainly a fascinating place to visit, with sights including beautiful landscapes and architecture ranging from Art Deco styles to gothic designs. Famous sights such as the Charles Bridge await interested tourists.

Prague is one of the most significant economic regions in Europe, and its economy differs from that of other Czech regions in terms of both size and quality. Nearly a quarter of the country's GDP is produced here, the unemployment rate is low, and wages are high. Prague is also the seat of the highest legislative, administrative and political bodies of the Czech Republic – the Parliament, the Government, and the President of the Republic. It is also home to the most important social, cultural and educational institutions and the cultural metropolis for the entire Czech Republic. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe especially due to its historical sights such as the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge or the Old Town Square. It is therefore not surprising that the number of tourists visiting Prague is increasing from year to year exponentially.

Prague is a center of both cultural and political events; it’s truly the beating heart of the Czech Republic. Prague is plagued with unscrupulous cabbies. Hailing a taxi on the street is inviting trouble. Prague is also a very popular location for nightlife and many people visit the city for that reason alone. There is everything from intimate jazz clubs to live music and dance clubs.

Prague is a center for symphonic and ensemble music performance, opera, theatre, jazz, composition, film scoring, music business, and music technology. Historically, it has given rise to centuries of great music composition (Mozart wrote Don Giovanni in Prague). Prague is the capital and the largest city in the Czech Republic. It is the seat of most state institutions. Prague is a centralized capital in Czech Republic and accessible to many other countries just a train ride away. Not just a seasonal destination, Prague is a short distance to many outdoor recreational destinations.

Prague is one of the world heritage sites identified by UNESCO. Prague is the most popular party destination in Europe. It has a chilled idea of fun (Czechs smoke more weed and drink more beer than any other European country), Hollywood movies like James Bond and staggeringly unbelievable nightlife - all for less than the cost of a bread roll and a cardboard box in any other city in Europe. Prague is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. With its old and preserved architecture, it is a magnet for millions of tourists.

Prague is also the center of the Czech Republic's printing and publishing industry. Numerous railways radiate from the city. Prague is also a city of atmospheric pubs serving world-famous brews, opulent Viennese-style coffee houses, and traditional beer halls serving hearty Czech fare.
